This may sound like a silly question - but when you add extension tubes, does the lens remain the same 17-55 range? Like could you take those macro shots, and then pull back and take a 17mm shot as you normally would do? 1Dx | 5D III | 1D IV | 8-15 | 16-35L II | 24-70L II | 70-200L II | 400L II | 1.4x III | Σ85 | 100L | 3 x 600EX-RT | ST-E3-RT

I don't have a number, but the range, from MFD to maximum distance, becomes pretty small. That may be because I have been using multiple tubes. https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9974201&postcount=2298Gear List

Mar 30, 2011 23:44 | #2859 So if I think my 17-50 isn't focusing properly - whats the SOP? Take it to local shop (didnt buy from there) or call Tamron direct? I bought it used FYI..... S100 | 5D III | 16-35 F4 IS L | 35 F1.4L | 40 2.8 | 85 F1.2 II L | 135 F2 L | 70-200 F2.8 IS II L
