Hi guys,

A few of my shots from Friday/Sat Practice, and Qualifying. Sunday I just chilled out in the grandstands and enjoyed the race.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks dude. That close up shot of Webber you had sent me digging back through my shots again. I thought I'd had a crack at something similar. Don't think it's quite as sharp as yours, but this is the best I got...
(my close shots of Mark weren't as good... even though he was going slower than Seb :S)

were you trying to do panning shots? cause the shutter speeds you used were quite low..

was playing around with speeds a bit... kinda started at around 1/250 or so until I was satisfied I had a nice shot of most of the cars from that particular corner... then started dropping them for something different

Oh man, nice shot, and so close.

Do you have a shot of the #1 or #2 Red Bull RB7 car, that is just a little wider?

You see the company I work for (Platform Computing) is a technology partner, and this year our logo is on the RB7 just behind the Red Bull on the side.

I may have to go to Montreal, and get some shots at the Canadian Grand Prix. :)

Just curious, and again, nice shots.

Thanks mate.

Here you go... This is about the only one I could find that was sharp enough. (even then I'm not really happy with it... should have gone with a faster shutter speed for these, was to worried about blurring the background)

Pretty cool to have your company associated with RBR. Hopefully they will hook you up with corporate tickets for the Canadian GP hey?? :)

Thanks mate, that's perfect.

It's cool to see it in an actual race. We'll see if Platform Computing can hook me up with tickets.
