I still recommend buying from Amazon because their customer service is simply spectacular. If you don't want to speak to someone for some reason, you can simply use online text chat.
Two years ago, I never received a lens that USPS claimed to have delivered so Amazon just sent me another without any issue.
Last week, tracking showed my lens as delivered even though it obviously was not. Hopped on chat, rep told me to wait until the next day and if I didn't get it by then I could simply contact Amazon again and they'll ship another one out to me and just as a nice gesture, gave me $20 worth of credit. At around 9pm that day, the delivery guy comes around and delivers the package. Obviously the tracking was incorrect...stupid OnTrac.
