curves, skin processing, my usual D&B for contrast on body, clothes, face, and subtly on the background, then put them together as a series

Zach, your last two digital art shots are really well done! That must invoke LOTS of pp time does it?

Zach - I saw that on Facebook. Great work! Do you use a Wacom or similar tablet for this kind of work?

ZSutton that was so nice to see. Great work.

Here are 6 hypnotists, shot in my small home studio.

I'm still getting used to shooting with the 85L wide open on a FF camera, but it's a fun exercise. I used this opportunity at a family gathering to work on my skin retouching. I did some patching, dodging and burning, sharpening, and some work on the eyes. I starting to feel like I'm getting the hang of this, and I'm looking forward to getting more practice to improve even more.

Without further ado, here's an image taken under window light (and the laptop that was in front of him). This was with the 5D and the 85L at 1.2 What a bugger to get the focus right wide open. I can't wait to get better at that.

My poor attempt -- Two girls that are bartenders at my local pub...We call the burnette Geppetto so we came up with this quick picture...they were there just to test lighting for me...
