My first digital was some sort of nikon coolpix with (I think) about 2mp. My first DSLR was a Rebel XT. I've been a Canon girl for over 25 years, but had to wait until the prices on digital came down some before I was able to make the move from film...

The first digital camera that I ever used was in ~1999 and was a Casio and was a 1 or 2 MP camera. I purchased it for work so it actually didn't belong to me. It had a detachable lens that you could attach to a cord that would allow the lens to be moved several inches from the camera body. You could shoot around corners or stick the lens into some tight places. I have since tried to find some information on that camera and have not been able to.

The first camera that I actually purchased for myself was a Canon G3 in 2003. I gave it to my wife when I bought my 40D but I still use it ocassionally.

The first one I ever used was this giant, bulky confusing machine my dad brought home from work in the 90's. The lens was in the top corner and it was just awful looking. First one I bought was a Canon Rebel XSi.

Fujifilm S5200. It was a pretty decent camera... quite bulky though :/

First digital: Sony CyberShot DSC-S75 3.3MP with a Carl Zeiss 7 - 21 mm (34 - 102 mm equiv.) F2.0 - F2.5 lens, not a bad camera except for the terrible shutter lag...
First DSLR: Rebel XT

Fuji Finepix 1300Z. Took remarkably good pictures. Of course, now that I have the 5DMkII, I suspect I'd be a lot fussier if I went back to it!

(Actually, the pic is a 2400Z, but mine looked the same except the silk screening!)

My first digital camera was this Canon SD110. I used that thing until it bit the dust about 5 years later. Longest lasting camera I have ever had!

I had a minolta P&S (3 or 4 MB). Don't remember the details, but when the wife dropped it and it stopped working, it gave be the excuse to buy my first Canon DSLR (350D). I felt bad about how guilty she felt, but inside I was jumping for joy at the unexpected opportunity to upgrade.
