Now can you make the weather better too, so I can go out and use the Big Stopper in fury?

Not at present. We received a delivery a week or so ago (which was the first we've had since November).
I think that we had sufficient to fill all back orders, and some over, but they've all gone......

While we don't have an ETA from the manufacturer for the next shipment, the industry whisper is that they've found a way to step up production, so we are very much hoping it won't be such a long wait this time.

Not sure if you realize, but Adorama doesn't charge your cc until we actually ship an order; so you could put an order in - if you find one somewhere else before the Adorama one is sent out, you can simply cancel.

Got mine yesterday from Adorma, ordered on 3/25, now if it'll clear up a bit i'll give it a try.

Sorry for newbish question, but what are the benefits of using a squared ND filter instead of a round?

Round ones are screwed directly onto the lens; square ones slide into a holder. If you have a very dense ND and don't have live view it'll be very hard to compose your photo with the ND in place, so you'd want to remove the filter to compose and then attach it again for the photo. It's going to be easier to slide a square one into the holder than to screw the round one back onto the lens.

There aren't any with the filter itself. However, if you have a Lee filter holder, it's easier to use multiple filters.

Edit: And as mentioned above, square ones are quicker to put on/off.

Thought I'd test my Big Stopper today for the first time, it's been sitting in my bag for months I think. No decent clouds to give the sky some detail but fun playing nevertheless. Only about 50 second exposures or thereabouts. I couldn't believe how accurate the colours were.
