Not an Authorized Canon dealer. If you look at their reseller rating, every good rating is by an account that only has that one review.

I assume it's a typical bait and switch company. Usually you buy it, they'll call you and tell you it's out of stock, then try to tell you a T2i is the same thing, and try to sell it at the same price.

Lol. I did some digging just out of curiosity. Everything on their eBay page is priced accordingly. They'd get kicked off eBay so fast if they tried B&Sing.

Here is the type of customer service you'll be getting if you ran into any problems:

STAY AWAY !!

The address:
RYTHER CAMERA.
420 N. WOOD AVE
LINDEN, NJ 07036

is fake. I remember it being a tuxedo store when I cross checked the address with another bait-and-switch camera store another POTN-er posted a few months ago.

Reseller ratings are not a good indication if the business is legitimate because the owners/managers can write phony reviews and experiences. One way around this is to stick with the major retailers (B&H, Adorama, BeachCamera, Amazon.com, etc). Another is to ask on this forum =P

2 cents!

Recent buyer here -- I bought my 5dm2 body from them last month (after doing as much research as I could online to make sure they were legit), and I can share my experience. The thing to watch out for is that at the time I ordered, they offered two versions of the 5dm2 -- import and USA warranty with the import being about $30 cheaper. At the time, they were $240 cheaper than Amazon, so I figure I'd take a chance and ordered the USA version.

The day after I ordered, I got a call (as I sort of expected), asking me if I wanted to upgrade shipping as standard doesn't include insurance and takes a week longer. Even with upgraded shipping, it takes a little under 2 weeks. I initially decided to stick with standard but then I figured I'd still save $200 even with upgraded shipping, so I paid $40 for that. Along with shipping upgrade they tried to sell me an extra battery and a flash card. I said no thanks, and the guy I talked with wasn't pushy at all.

The body arrived on the day it was promised, the camera body was new and worked as expected, and I really don't have any complaint with Ryther. I did find out that the way they are able to offer lower pricing is they separate the kit and sell you the body in the kit box w/o the lens and sell the lens separately. My kit box had a plastic balloon in place of the lens.

Anyway, I'm not here to tell you to go with Ryther, but I just want to let you know that at least for me, it worked out.

I was ready to throw the dice at that price but it seems that they have removed the product from their site.

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

I don't think they separated the kit to sell you the camera. I think the white box with a plastic balloon is propably CANON REFURBISH item and i suspect they had sold you one.

Anyhow, congrat on your 5d2 and have a lot of fun with it.
