I tried to do this multiple times. But I can't get perfect water drops. Mine are always shaped weird. I used a squirt bottle.. And then tried a dropper. Haha.. How did you get your drops so round?

If you've got a capacitive touch screen phone (or even better, an iPad) you could use the screen as a lot of them have an oleophobic coating.

Drew is right I used Rain-X to make the water bead up nicely.
