What would you like to see improved on the 5d Mk2?

For me it gotta be the autofocusing. Frames per sec speeds. SD card bay. Also, built in WiFi without the stupid cost or weight of the WFT-E4 mk2. Wireless flash triggering. Built in flash. Cornor loop for sling hook strap (freeing up the tri mount hole)

That'll do if for me :)

Canon 5d Mkii ~ f/4 24-105L USM ~ EF 50mm f/1.8 II
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM ~dye Speedlite 580EX Mkii. Mitsubishi CP-D707-DW dye-sub double printer. Bowen 500's & Lastolite 400's flash heads. Lastolite TriFlector

The image quality of a low-end Hasselblad at no more than the current price.

* the same no. of megapixels or *a little* more, but better ISO, DR, no pattern artefacts
* decent af, also able to cope with video (forget 7D AF)
* articulated lcd
* whatever *custom* video ratio
* no more 4G limit in video

All manual, auto focus so you can use present glass, no FPS, no auto exposure, 21 MP, high clean ISO, no video, rugged body with similar size shape as 5D and similar controls for shutter speed and aperture control. Thats what I would like.

Ditto for me. The 5DII is about perfect in every way except for the AF.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

What you are most likely to get is,
- better auto focus
- one stop better high ISO grain
- some video improvement that most photographers don't care about
- improved dials that don't cost $100 as an upgrade on the 5Dmk2
