If that does not make a difference, see if you can connect with someone with a G5 compatible charger -- to borrow, or to charge your battery for you. See if that makes a difference. If not, maybe the camera has developed a fault. batery and charger are fine, this was actually a common issue wit new cameras so i was surprised when it happened to an old camera after the burn in period but my wife isn't easy on things ~ Jeff
