My 30D got so soaked i couldnt hold on to it anymore before, No issues...I've shot all my cameras in rediculously poor weather and my 30D went into a snowbank before with no issues....And i shot in the rain numerous times with my 100-400 and my 30D with no protection at all...

No issues...

My 5D also get fair share of heavy use. It has been soaked wet & ice coated before. It is still working fine. My 50f/1.8 has been drop from 5 feet to hardwood floor, nothing was broken, still sharp and AF.
