Hey guys, sorry if this is has been dealt with in another thread.
I have two questions...

The SanDisk 60MB/s Extreme CF cards (external link):
Are these new CF cards 100% compatible with the Canon 40D?
When I say 100%, I mean can the 40D utilize the full speed of the card.
My Dad's 400D can support Extreme III 30MB/s cards but it's about as slow as an Ultra II card because the camera simply can't keep up with the extra speed, where as my newer 40D can. Can my 40D also use a 60MB/s CF to it's full potential? And can it support all three formats available?
I am skeptical about the 32GB but pretty confident about the 8GB and 16GB.
Any of you use these cards? With what cameras?

The other question is, what do you think of this (external link)Ebay sale?
Legit, no?
I bought both my Extreme III 4GB cards for around $60-70AUD over a year ago... :-|

Thanks for reading :D

wow, thanks! this is brilliant

So it turns out buying a 60MB/s Extreme CF will not improve my 40D's speed at all...
Not until I buy the 5DMKII, will it be worth my money.
My 40D doesn't even keep up with the Extreme III cards I'm using now!

The 40D (and older) does not support UDMA so it can't take advantage of the cards speed.
However, when you hook the card to yor computer, you can still take advantage of the speed
while copying your pictures off of it.

Also don't buy cards from eBay.

Unless you're using USB2, in which case you may as well stick with the 30 MB/s cards as USB2 won't get much faster than that.
