Seriously, what's wrong with people in Sydney...This is a comment of the SMH website on the CBD closures from Sunday

would love to be able to just "make plans" but life goes on. I had to get to a 4 year birthday party on the other side of the bridge that took an extra hour so a few people could have a run around. Why do we need to close the centre of a city like Sydney to do this?? Why not put this sort of thing out at Homebush or better yet - give it to Melbourne . .

What a cock! Get over yourself and go via Hunter's Hill!

As much as I love this city, the people in it are such idiots!

I've had a request to purchase one of my photos. I've sold several in NZ, but I don't know what the deal is over here. Is there anything I need to be aware of as far as tax or licences go?

Then of course there's the question around what's the going rate for a cover image on a magazine with a circulation of 8000...

I have to agree with you Phil, I thought I was pretty ignorant for a Sydney resident. I went into the city during the closures through Victoria Road and it was buttery smooth. How hard is it to know and plan when there are only two arteries between the city and the northern suburbs...

Better yet, should tell them to catch the bloody ferry if they are going to whinge. That way, they support our lousy public transport system :) Wait... do ferries run in the weekends? :P

@Jason, can't really help you there as I have had no experience myself with selling prints. But I have taken the time to browse through your site and I like your simplistic and clean approach to your subjects.

Apparently it's very difficult for some people. I've come to the conclusion that this city is very easy to get around by any means of transport, you just have to make a plan! I went from Chatty to the airport with no dramas on public transport, I was actually quite shocked that I made all the connections as I was on buses trains and walked too.

Better yet, should tell them to catch the bloody ferry if they are going to whinge. That way, they support our lousy public transport system :) Wait... do ferries run in the weekends? :P

Ferries would be the best option too! Apparently they're free too!!! ;)

In other news, I picked up a Yashica TLR off Ebay last night. Should be here by the end of the week. I'm excited!

Impressive tax everyone! Especially smythie, nice mood in that photo.

After only 8ish months back from holiday I've finally finished the p-p on the photos I took whilst there.

Click here (external link) for the Flickr set.

So here's some holiday tax...

eyy haven't posted here in yonks but I'm back and I've got all new gear and a renewed focus: street photography.

I've been spending most of my time looking at war photography books and blogs, trying to convince myself not to take out a loan and go shoot the Mexican drug war or something. But I really want to anyways.

Been trying to get into Sydney to shoot every week but I've been working 7 days a week for a while. Want to get down to Melbourne cause it's way better.

A few examples of the cliche boring **** I've been doing.

Atm I'm looking into getting an ND filter setup so that I can start doing seascapes, but I need to save some bloody money first.

My gear is starting to come together.https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9669451&postcount=2225

Phil, malakite, thanks.

It was shot from one of the mounds in Blaxland Riverside Park (behind the Silverwater gaol/near the old Armoury) looking west at the oil Refinery at Rosehill/Clyde.
