Great shots in here. I am so close to picking this up but need to choose between this and the 24L TSE II.

This shot would be amazing (not saying it isn't already) but to have the peninsula cropped out in the far right corner

I want to say it's mostly the photographer. Don't get me wrong, the Zeiss 21mm is a fantastic piece of glass. I had this lens for a weekend and my shots didn't come an ounce as close as what Hugo is putting up on a weekly basis. Hugo really does have an eye for capturing epic images.

+1

It is very much about the photographers ability to see and knowing how to capture those scenic shots. It is also very much about post processing. I think people like Hugo and his alikes are very good at post processing. I bet it would be hard telling from the raw files that it is possible to develop such images from them. Hard work it is. Then of course, without the right equipment it would be very difficult to get those high end results. That goes especially if thos images is to be printed in larger size.

Definitely. It has a lot to do with the technique, timing and subject matter. The lens is only one variable.
