Hey guys.
Took this shot the other day of a really good friend of mine, he is naturally tanned so skin tone is quite dark. looking for C+C to help me improve. Thanks in advance.

A great shot - nicely framed.....still looks a bit warm to me and could use an exposure boost past the ball. Love to see this in black and white.

This is an awesome shot, but would love to see it in B&W as well. Love it.

Does seem a little warm to me as well. Crank down your temp, cool it off a bit your colors will tip you off to proper temp. Well done though!

+2 B&W seems like a good fit and should help with the the warmth. :)

He fills the frame nicely though, a really great capture!

Composition is great, but the yellow undertones really stand out.

Or.fix the white balance.you will have to fix the yellow anyways before B&W conversion.

If we're only talking a white balance issue of like 500 degrees, which we are, then no, he won't need to fix the white balance at all before going B&W

If you're in B&W and adjust WB a few thousand degrees you will get changes in exposure, but individual colour channels dont effect the image.... funnily enough...
