I haven't shot much this spring (or posted much on here) so we got out for some good rock climbing in Colorado last weekend. All of Jake's friends were screaming encouragement at him to pull over the roof. It was great to see him really go for it and a lot of fun to shoot. Cross posted in the 17-40L forum.

That is a great shot. The blue and greens really come out. Where in Colorado is this at?

Great rock climbing shot, makes me want to get back up there! Here's one from the other night. They are filming Silent Hill 2 here so I wandered over to grab some shots...this one is not from the set but one I liked a lot on the way home.

Thanks David.
It's a rock climbing area called Shelf Road, about 10 miles north of Canon City. The climbing is mostly straight vertical cliffs up to 80 feet high. There aren't that many big "fun" roof climbs like this one. PP done in LR3. I tweaked someone else's preset and that's about it. If I had better PP skills I'd try to remove that big flare but otherwise I was pleased to get this and several other good shots.

It is great to see so many people still producing stunning images with this VERY special camera!

I own quite a few bodies, including a 1DS3 and a D3X but I just love the 1DS2, I think the FF sensor with a lower pixel density than some of the newer models produce cleaner images (at low ISO) with better tonality and better per pixel sharpness than the newer 21.1 and 24mp bodies.

I love the 1DS2 so much that when a nice clean sample, at a good price crossed my path today I just HAD to buy it, now I own 3 :oops::oops:

A few recent images from my 1DS2's

Welcome pdx.

Rudix, your landscapes remind me of our own Navydoc's. Great stuff. The 4th one looks like Colorado.
