I like the image, but would like it more if the dead branch were removed. My assumption is that you did a "lighten" vignette, but the lightened corners tend to draw my eye away from the center. I would like to see it again with a "darken" vignette to really know for sure.

I'll echo the above. The vignette has "ghosted" the corners. Also, seems a bit soft to me, but that could be from the compression and/or my work monitor. Composition is good...the minor fixes should really improve the overall image.

I love it.
Better with everything said above!

It's not soft...the focal plane is through the middle of the flower which is deceptive.

Good photo, and good comments. I would have stopped the lens down more to get more of the flower in focus. That would give the shot the appearance of being sharper.

agree about the corners.no vignette, and it looks like a glamour glow or some other filter was used?
