I thought about "getting into" photography but I just couldn't afford it :p !!

Even if I had an "older" camera body, say something like a Canon 40D, I'd still be hankerin' after a few of them there Red-Ring lenses...I believe they are called Elle-Lenses ??

Then I'm told I'd need a couple or more of them Speedlite things, and maybe I'd get some cheap EBay strobes amd a heap of modifiers to go with them, but then, heaven forbid, I may catch that "Elinchrom Bug" disease I've heard so much about and feel compelled to buy some Elinchrom strobes, and maybe one of them Deep Okter thingy-ma-jigs.

Then if I was off to Melbourne in a couple of weeks I'd likely as not book some workshops to spend all my TA on while I was there instead of food !!

And if we were soon gonna build a new house I'd want to make the garage extra big so to be able to use it for a studio...........

no, dont fink it sounds like I can't afford that foto-mograffy, seems cheeper to stick wiv FB !!

Cheers !!

The Chinese gov. Hates Facebook too, so much so they have blocked it. Rather inconvenient for me as I am over in shanghai at the moment. It's amazing what people over here have to put up with, makes me appreciate the country we live in that's for sure.

I'm hearing what your are saying justin. When I left uni I thought australia was FUBAR and then I sat down to think where was better , nearly 20 years later I'm still stumped.

Just remember when you get back home go on a detox diet , chinese food standards are nowhere near australian

Would you like extra fat on top of your fat, yeah I'm having a hard time. Lucky I brought a box of weet bix with me, haha. The food standards in china are much better than Vietnam though, which is where I'll be in a few days. I'm hanging out for a nice big bowl of Pho!

Nope, grad from clear-yellow-red at the top. I was ordering from B&H so I thought I'd try a few colour filters to get me out of PS so much.

I have seen some great shots from that type of filter. Are you using screw in filters or plates in a holder?

Cokin setup. Can't afford anything better really. I don't have a problem with the Cokin system, people have complained about getting purple colouring but I'm yet to have that problem. I've got an ND, Grad ND and now grad red and sunset filters for it. I might look at getting some blue grads later down the track. I'll see how I go with these first.
