The lens in front of the flash focuses the flash beam and it works way farther. It's pretty cool. I wish I had one!

I don't have a "Better Beamer" setup, so I thought I'd try it with the gear I do have... Hhehehehhehe... I was shooting at the lion exhibit @ the LA Zoo... It worked pretty well for fill light... Decent reach @ roughly 10-15 yards away from the subject... Below is a sample result of the setup above...
