I'd like your thoughts and opinions to an idea I had regarding printing and framing my "Road to Julian" photograph. I wanted to see if I could eliminate more of the brown foliage in the foreground and not wind up with just a long, skinny image.
My idea is to divide the image into three 8x10 photos and mount as a triptych. At 8x10, I can eliminate more of the foreground. The matte would have an inch border around each third of the images with a total matted size of 28x12. I've enclosed an example of how it would look and below that, the original.
