Some concert pix. Wanted to preserve traces of noise for atmospheric grit of the concert. Minimal to no NR applied.

ISO 1600.

that coffee looks amazing
There needs to be a farm fresh brown egg in that egg cup!

I have a few bucks to spend on a lens (happy anniversary to me!) Ive got a 50/1.8
but Id like something with a better build quality. The 50/1.4 has AF failure problems and that concerns me. Knowing me, Id drop $$ on one and it would fail the day after the warranty ran out.
Cuz thats how I roll.
Im considering just saving up for the 24-70, but Ive never used one and I really like primes.
See my dilemma?
Im whiny this morning, aren't I?

Whaaaaaaa. 50mm 1.4 = epic win, don't listen to the interwebz, it'll get you every time.

Well when I purchased my 70-200 the rubber on the zoom ring was beginning to dry up and almost started looking like it was going to flake. I took it to the local cleaning guy and he rubbed some sort of magical lubricant on it and revived it haha. I will contact him and see if he'd like to release the info or not......I'm assuming this is what your referring to?

Brennan's right. Go for the 303. I've used it for years, there's nothing that comes close to it.
