Nothing wrong with DPP but, I suggest LR and PS Elements to keep your cost down. For hosting, Flickr is a good option since the cost isn't that bad. Plus, it doesn't compress your images like Photobucket does.

One last shot before I returned the lens to my friend. Now to decide whether I want the Zeiss 21mm or the 24L II. Decisions

Thanks Julian.

I don't think you're helping though with the choices Julian. I know you have both and you produce spectacular results with both...but if you had to choose one, which would it be? I'm leaning towards the zeiss actually.

As long as your ok with MF on the Zeiss then that shouldn't be a problem. If AF is important to you, the 24 L. Ultimately, it would be down to the Zeiss for me. I love it's rendering and the sold feel of the barrel. You can't go wrong with a Zeiss. I also own the 24 TS-E MK II and that lens is awesome! I know, not helping you here. :p Get the Zeiss man.

I've had the pleasure of using both the zeiss 21 and the canon 24L recently. The 24L is definitely easier to use of the 2. Even with live view...I suck at manual focusing a lens. But the rendition of the 21 is definitely different and appealing. Thanks for your suggestions Julian. Definitely helpful.

I've not used the Zeiss 21 but I'd probably choose the 21 over the 24L. There is something magical about the rendering and handling of these lenses.

....the 24L is also a gem.

Glad I bought my 24L before I was aware of the Zeiss.

Somewhat I found 17-40 dose better flare control than 24L II, am I right or not?
