Going to Alaska in June I want a bag that will fit my sigma 150 - 500 and a couple of other lenses. I prefer back pack style bags. I currently have the Lowepro 200 but the lens is bigger than the bag ;)

When you say back pack style, do you mean you want to put clothes and other items inside or you just like a backpack style camera bag for your gear only? From your gear signature, you don't need something as big as the Tilopa unless you do want to use it as a traditional backpack. Plus a smaller bag will be beneficial depending on your mode of transportation to, from and in Alaska.

BTW....I'm going to Alaska in June also and carrying everything I have in my signature in a Thinktank Streetwalker.

Unfortunately, the extra large ICU is not going to be in stock by his trip according to the fstopgear website.

My LOKA just came today. This company is awesome. I am sure if you call them they can get you what you need for your trip. 20 year warranty. Yes please.

Is this going to be an airline carry-on as well as your "on the go" bag once you arrive?

I like the back pack style bag but it will only be used for the camera gear. We will be on a cruise and going on excursions everyday. Yes I want to carry it on the plane

Lowepro ProRunner 300AW. It will hold my Bigmos along with a 50D/70-200 2.8 IS Mk 1, 10-22, 17-55 and a 580EXII with ease.

Everybody here has a favorite bag to recommend. I prefer Thinktank products because their backpack straps fit me very well and are comfortable all day, but there are fine many choices. If you are concerned with style you might check out some of the Kata products, in fact, they have rebates on many of their backpacks right now.

I had a 50-500mm a while back, I am almost sure that it would fit into a Thinktank Streetwalker Pro, along with the rest of your kit. My 100-400 fits easily into the regular Streetwalker with room to spare around it, I know your Bigma is a little bigger, so I think the Pro version should handle it. That would be my recommendation.

What time in June will you be on your cruise? I'll be cruising there myself the first week of June.

We are going on a the Golden Princess the 18th of June. I will check out the Thinktank bags. I am not as concerned about style as comfort. Hubby says I bought the stuff I get to carry it :)
