Once you get the new body do you still use the old one?

I keep my rebel as a backup, or when I want to take a picture of my 1D. Also, it's for my mom to use when she needs a camera.

When I bought my 7D I had been using a 30D as my main DSLR. I had decided to keep it as my backup, and dragged it everywhere with me. In the end I sold it as I never took in out of the bag.
Not wanting to be without a spare I decided instead to keep my trusty XTi (which had been the backup to the 30D) as it was smaller, lighter, cheaper, and still took amazing pictures.
