I was just thinking my Zenfolio was too basic. Here is the link, try to be as harsh as possible. http://dylanredfieldphotography.com/ (external link)

The font screams "basic default font". Disclaimer: I do graphic design, so maybe I'm more sensitive to font choice. It might make more sense to put the "About" link first, and maybe get rid of the "All My Photos" link because all your photos are already on the bottom of the page. It's a little cluttered with so many buttons. Just my humble opinion :)

You're 12 years old? Impressive!

It does look like a "standard" Zenfolio site. One of the things that I don't care for is the different "themes", or colors. Keep the font colors the same.

Used all of your advice but with different variations. I took off the featured category, the pictures from my home page, and I kept the fonts

I've got the same theme set up on my Zenfolio - it changes the theme for photo galleries automatically for some reason, once you dig into the settings and get it all set to the same colors, etc, it'll flow much more nicely.

I've seen worse, from those much older in age. Pretty good job I'd say :)

My suggestion is to remove the sentence from your "about" page that notifies visitors they can download all your photos. And I would switch the setting that allows downloading of files by visitors. All it will lead to are thieves and image web crawlers taking photos from your site that they potentially may use for other purposes. Protect what you have!

It's not stealing if you are giving it away... I'm 12, I don't want to worry about selling my images. I mostly shoot my sisters sports and my friends so if they want the pictures for their facebook page or anything I want them to have, especially since my watermark is there.

You don't need full resolution image files for facebook. They only display 720 pixels on a side max. Plus most of your photos it seems are not watermarked - for the most part only ones in your slide show. And when you put it in the corner/edge of the picture it can easily be cropped out!

The fact of the matter is that I want people to have my photos. I don't want to make money off of this hobby yet.

If you are talking about your flickr then you are out of luck. Some people re-upload the pictures they want on the homepage so it shows up in their photostream
