My 60D is being recalibrated, so that has given me a chance to get to know my G12 a lot better, and I'm loving it!

check out Clark Little (external link) if you want to see how this should be done...but this was just my first try (well one out of 75 tries) in 40 degree water.

You should have received a copy of Canon's own editing software with your G12, it's called DPP and is a very capable package to get you into having a play to get the most out of your shots.

i rarely do any post processing lol ! and when i do it sucks im still learning :) no post processing was done in the picture coz i have to calibrate my monitor lol

Purchased the G12 just over a month ago.

Took this shot on my first day of "play" while learning to use the G12's many features ...

I just bought a G12 based on some of these photos. They are exceptional. I hope to come up with some good ones as well.

I did catch the new local Police vehicle that had a cool look.

Snazzy police car, I imagine he won't be trying to toss any bad guys in the back seat. Looks like they may use it to attract teens with the DARE program, and maybe give speeders second thoughts.

Nice pics, but yes, a little heavy on the cropping for #2.

I goofed, for once I forgot to save a copy and voila, bad crop that cant be undone. Bummer. I will have to find the car and get some more photos, it is too unique and will make a good image for my garage.
