First attempts using filters, never used them before and finding it is a art in itself! Heres a few pics that came out ok a lot didnt lol.

What kind of filter were you using, UV, polarizer, ND? I just don't know what I am looking for. :)

Im most in touch with the last one. I don't like the others because of the composition or the cloud formations and the sun halo thru the clouds.

Thanks for the replys though i could do little to re arrange the cloud formations and in a wide open space you would have to travel miles to get a totally diffrent composition lol ;).

Just a polarizing filter and some cokin p grads was used. Was quite a misty early morning with a lot of sea spray, so compared to what you would get without the filters I was quite pleased :)

I thought it was really difficult to get the halo of the sun in the clouds, normally a sensor would be totally blitzed pointing the cam straight at the sun.

In a yelllow field of flowers i had a go at strobing with the polarizer on and got...terrible results lol. I love that effect anyone know the art to it???
