So this was the price after shipping and sales tax etc? That is hard to beat.

Yes, give or take a few cents or dollars depending on your state tax

i'm wondering why they dont include the 5d on the list, at least one full frame would be nice as an option. :)

Mainly because the 5d classic is long since discontinued. Canon has a habit of removing such bodies and lenses from their refurbished lists--usually within the first year of being discontinued.

How's the reliability of refurbished cameras? I'm thinking about picking up a refurbished S95.

Anyone know when the last time a 1D MK IV refurb was listed as in stock? I know it's not part of CLP but it is an attractive price. ;)

Nope, the 7d was instock only 2 days ago. Before that, it was out only 7-10 days.

I received my reburbished T2i yesterday under the CLP. It looked brand new, with no signs of wear at all. But this morning I installed Magic Lantern, and found a version from back in February that reported the shutter actuations count. It said 5148.

I'm not sure what to make of that. Could the ML count be wrong? How would a camera with no wear (not even any tiny scratches on the display screen) get over 5K of shutter actuations?

No, it's probably right. Some people are just very careful with their equipment. You just happen to benefit from it :D

Canon could have replaced items that had signs of wear.
