24LII is an awesome lens, but I don't use mine much. I much prefer 35mm focal length and find the 24 to be too heavy to bring "just in case I need a wider lens". The only time I use it is when we travel somewhere by car, so I'm thinking that I should sell it, but it's hard to get rid of what is probably my best lens...

^^Thanks Helena. I like the width of 24mm but, I haven't shot 35mm yet. I'm still debating on the 35 L 1.4, Zeiss 35 f2, or the Zeiss 35 1.4.

Solution!

Buy an APS-C camera so then the 24 becomes a 38 and then it'll no longer be too wide. j/k

If it's hardly used, that's a lot of money locked up for a paperweight.

Funny but I got one and I find I do like it more on the 60D but its so close to my 50L that I may sell mine too. Amazing lens but I don't know if its worth it for me to keep it.

I do think having a fast wide option is cool but I have a 24-70 and I mostly shoot for fun so I don't know if its a lens worth keeping for me.

^Nice one David. For that sunrise shot, I didn't use any filters at all. All I did was up the exposure using Fill Light in LR3. Plus, I wanted to see how good the flare control is with this lens. It's really good.

You can get away with that on the 1ds cameras. Too much fill light with 5d2 is not pretty.

You can get great deals in Vegas. Stayed at the Palazzo for $129/night with 2 free Phantom of the Opera tickets.
