And at least in my experience, with all of the angry hornet sounds coming from my 35/2 it nails focus every time. Love this lens!

Hi Vishnu,

No star filter.
Just diffraction with the 5 bladed 35mm f/2. Thus 10 spikes.
Must have been a smallish aperture...
