This is technically a home-built replica (a so-called Jurca Spitfire) but it sure is pretty...

can't decide wether I like the classic #1 shot more, or the wild background in #2.. either way all lovely.

Thanks very much. There are a few more in my Air To Air Gallery (external link) that I've never badged for posting on POTN.

This one is Allison powered so it sounds more like a P-40.

its a life-size fibreglass replica, placed on a roundabout as a memorial of the old wartime airfield that my home town was built upon
