Im about to shoot my 1st e-session tomorrow and have it scheduled at 11am. I didnt want to shoot that early but its the only time they can meet up. What the best way to shoot these? I have 2 ab800 BD Umbrella etc. Should i use them or just try to use the sun?

Have you done any outdoors portraits with your lighting gear before? I would say keep it simple for your 1st E-session.

If you feel comfortable enough with the lighting equipment, then I would bring it. Yeah, shade area, sun behind their backs with fill flash, etc, etc...

I would just be looking for open shade instead of carrying tons of light with me...but that's me, you may do things differently.

Im going to the location in about 15 mins to scout the area. Then ill see what is needed. What would you do if there not a lot of shaded areas?

Just what i was scared about. No shade what so ever so i think i worked around it. Also was hard to keep the sun behind them when it was right above us the whole time.
