I built one like this but used a sheer cloth fabric instead as I found it to diffuse light better. The PVC models are nice as you can make them quite large for relatively cheap. In the end I preferred the manufactured ones as they fold up nice and are a bit more portable.

Finally built this thing. :) I've got the frame built but there is still some finishing work to do. Photos coming soon.
