I am trying to more comfortable with the functions and will widen the effect in future shots. Amazing how well the miniature mode works with the right subject. You nailed it, beautiful shot, and so miniature looking! "Keep me, protect me, share me- and I will live forever"

I just sold my T1i that I called my "back up camera" and decided to get a point and shoot for backup instead. I read reviews until I was cross-eyed about the Panasonic Lumix LX5 and the Canon G12. They both seem like great little cameras. But I got to page 7 of this thread and placed my order last night at Adorama for the Canon. I think I'm a Canon girl at heart anyway and besides there's not a comparable forum for the Panasonic Canon 7D | Canon G12 | 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 |17-55mm f2.8 IS | 24-105mm f4L IS USM | 70-200 f4L IS | Ʃ 30 f1.4 | 50mm f1.4 | 85mm f1.8 | 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro | 430EX II | LumoPro LP 160

I hope that's a good thing! Make sure you get the filter adapter FA-DC58B and a 58mm polarizer. Makes a great addition to the G12. pwdieter Senior Member ![]() 528 posts Joined Oct 2006 Location: Puget Sound More info | Finally reworked this one to where I wanted it. Ran a 16 x20 proof and really think it's dead on to what I was looking for. Sending it off to the giclee factory for printing on water color paper. 6 shots stitched and then messed with (that's the technical term). Have fun
