I offered $190 and they countered at $200. SOLD! I'm very pleased with this setup.

Yeah I offered $190 because of your previous posts haha. Hope I can get the same deal. How is it compared to its competitors? This would be the first "real" tripod I own.

Got my NEO-1128T with LX-1T today for 135,000 won. Ordered it Sunday night and it came Wednesday morning. Helps to be in Korea. :) http://item.gmarket.co.kr …128t&search_keyword=1128t (external link)

Using the Herringbone plate that came with my handstrap.

A little wobble when fully extended with 7D + Tamron 17-50 and 580EX II and the legs at the bottom (thinnest part) do bend in a bit if you push on it.

I'm about 5'8"-5'9" (175cm) and it is pretty much at eye level fully extended. Probably won't ever use it that high, but just to try it out. It's pretty sturdy otherwise and folds up nice and small.

Debated on getting this or the Benro Travel Angel A1691, but that one has 5 sections rather than the 4 on this one.

Is very sad that the C-1540T is nowhere to be found on e-bay at this point--horus still makes it, but there's no one in the U.S. selling it! Has anyone tried to buy one or contacted any of the e-bay sellers about it? Anyone know a US seller of them still? I wonder if it ran into legal trouble or something (realllllly close copy of gitzo carbon traveler)...anyone have more info?

Anyone tried the new FX-7429 and whatnot traveler ones? They don't go as high or support as much weight, but they are very very tiny...they look nice, but don't look as sturdy, but looks can be deceiving...and they are very different from the gitzo copy...innovative center column design on these. They are also cheaper. But 30-something inches without the center column is quite short.. . If someone's used one and has some pics of it in action though, I'd love to be able to recommend it to people. Everyone who sees mine immediately asks where they can get one, and I've been pointing people to e-bay, but they are no longer available... bah!

I offered $190.00 free shipping for the Horusbennu C-2540 Tripod w LX-3 Ballhead NEW, within 12hrs, they accepted my offer which I paid on 4/28/11. Fast fedex shipping, I got mine last 5/2/11. Looks really great but not fancy or cheap, light, no damage or blemish whatsoever, very stable for my 7d with 70-200. strong Ballhead locks in the weight of the camera in portrait position with few turns of the knob. Its worth every penny.

So after playing email tag with the seller for a few days, they agreed to send another one. I just sent the return out yesterday but they have already sent the new one a couple days ago. It just left customs, and I should have it by tomorrow. Will update once I have it in hand.

Nice, got the same deal you did. That's seriously fast shipping; only 4-5 days to your door? Did you choose the free shipping option or did you pay extra for faster delivery?

Lx-5 arrived today. Looks quality material. Haven't tried it yet. It stayed with Canadian customs the same number of days it took to arrive from Korea!

So it was shipped EMS? Did you get hit with taxes or duties?
