Filters for 70-200 is II & 50 f1.4 Ripped off?

If you agreed to pay that much then you didn't get "ripped off". You just overpaid, that's your fault.

Ok genius. I overpaid. The point of this post is to ask If i did actually did overpaid or if I just got a really good filter. Those two don't mean the same thing.

i think i bought a hoya pro 1 UV filter for my 24-70 for about 70$ from maxsavers. i'm happy with it.

Hate to point this out but things exist outside the US.
Prices in Australia can vary significantly to those in the US.

You did. A very good one. They're just shy of Au$3300 in store.
As for your filter, if it's a top of the range 77mm multi coated Hoya, that sounds about right.
Even if you paid 20 bucks more for the filter than you should have, you saved a bit over $1000.
