Thanks man, it was fun to shoot. I used a plate of black plexi underneath, a 28" softbox overhead for lighting, and christmas lights, strung around a mini-trampoline for the bokeh ;)

I think it's best to get the head in a clean spot if you can; the telephone wires going through his head that aren't very flattering. It's a great sky, and I get that you were trying to include the cloud at the bottom, but I think I'd rather the light be a little higher relative to his face, and avoid the wires. Nice balance of strobe and ambient though, it's a good portrait for sure

My old Yashica MAT 124 It has seen better days..
Real quick ps edit if you peep you will find mistakes


My setup as follows
DIY sealed cardboard cut out for lens into lightbox, white foamcored one side only and 2 white sheets.
Alien bee 1600 with beautydish and softcover
5dmII and tokina 11-16mm

5DM2 /grip Lots Of L's
