Ugly but very useful plane
there is a base about 50 miles from here they use
get to here that shrill sound once in a while

Thanks for the nice comments, appreciated.
Focal length was between 18mm and 200mm. When it was turning, the runway is just 80 meters from the viewpoint so you can imagine how large the C5 really is close up.
The noise was incredible, much louder than i thought and nearly on par with a B-1B when you are so close. The re-engined C-5M is much quieter apparently.
