Hi everyone, just figured out how to use the Watermark feature of Aperture 3, let me know what you guys think... please!
Anything I should add to make the image "mine", etc. I'm rather new to all of this, so any critique or help is much appreciated.

On a different note, what do you think of this shot? Snapped it at the park with my buddies dog the other day, I love it!

It looks pretty good, however it's pretty hard to read what's in red. Maybe you could make it a little more prominent, or bigger or something. Other that that, I think it looks pretty good.

I like the Max Photography 2011 part, but the red numbers in that font look out of place. If I were you I would make it opaque white, in the same font, and make it line up with the rest of the watermark. Hope that helps!

After starring at it a bit more, I agree it's a little hard to see, so I made it a little larger:

I would really like to make a semi-transparent diagonal background for the watermark like this (look below), but I don't quite know how yet.

I like that idea charl1e, I think I'll mess around with a few more styles.

I like it a lot. Although, I would lose the Papyrus.

The watermark is cool but the snake shot from the first post is amazing. Looks like Im wearing 3D glasses!

Thank you! I really love that shot too.

Well I finally made up my mind, crossed the first and second water mark to come up with this, I'm sticking with this one, simple, elegant, and not overly attention drawing.

Looks good to me, Can you explain how this is done? I would appreciate it. Been wanting to do one myself.

Try adding a stroke to the text of the opposite color for when it blends with backgrounds to isolate it.

try adding a contrasting drop shadow to the text. That way, if the font is lost in the images tones, the shadow is still visible.

Looks more like a stamp than a watermark though.
