$37 18X24 canvas from canvas people

I ordered one to see how it compares to canvas on demand, its cheaper / bigger but the quality ? guess we will find out in a few weeks if they are good then I will be jumping on this deal if it comes up again

just received mine, comparing it to canvas on demand ones I will say

the edges are only 3/4" by the look of it, looks really small compared to the COD ones

as for quality the sharpness of the COD ones seems to be better, the canvas seems thicker less translucent as well, this image just looks out of focus, I used the same techniques as the COD ones which I have 6 of that all look good

for the price I guess you cant expect a whole lot, I am going to try one more if it comes around just to see but I think unless the other one looks better I will stick to COD

I just got mine today and love it. The colors are vibrant and the print is great! Not sure what tekkie is talking about the canvas being transparent, because mine is definitely not! Love it and will get another! I got a coupon for $50 off next order if anyone is interested...

do you have any of the canvas on demand ones? hold both of them up in front of a window and you will probably see the same as me that the light comes through it more

actually I meant its more translucent you cant see through it but you dont need much light peeking behind it before you can see it coming through, not that will normally be an issue anyway

I will probably order another one to try it again maybe my processing screwed it up

its not bad by any means but for the price difference between it and COD the COD ones look more professional to me

I dont have anything to compare it to, but i guess I wouldnt recommend hanging it in front of a window then I don't know I like it for the price...would I have spent full price? Probably not, but for the $37 and free shipping, you cant go wrong

also, how large was the file you uploaded? mine was right below the max and looks great! Maybe there was a mix up or something, but I think you can have them redo it...

I think it was 12MB if I recall

mine looks ok it just doesnt look as good as the COD ones, I think its the canvas they used the COD one seems to be smoother and have more detail... or maybe it was the processing but I dont think so

either way even if the picture looked the same I still prefer the COD ones even if they are a little smaller and a couple bucks more

if I get around to it I will post a pic of both of them together so you can see what I mean

how long did it take to get it from when you ordered it? i ordered it this weekend, and while its only been 3 days, id expect to have heard from them about my order status, no?

My order was placed 6 days ago and i got it today. Take the order number and go to the website. Click on FAQ and there should be a "where is my order" or something button. For some reason this time around they didn't email me when it was shipped and I checked yesterday and saw that it was to be delivered today!
