-=1D Mk II and Mk IIn Owners Unite!

Hey guys! Just got myself a used 1D Mark II a few weeks ago. Love the build of the 1-Series!

Congrats and welcome to the Mk2 club ! Nice photos....but then subjects that pretty are almost like cheating ! LOL.
Really it is a nice camera, and in today's market, it's the bargain of the year.

Haha thanks! I got it at a pretty nice price, certainly a bargain considering the condition of the body!

Still waiting for the chance to shoot some sports and give the famed AF system a test drive

With the mark III and a sealed lens I would stop when I froze to death and fell over dead..

Here's a photo of it after shooting for 4 hours in an inch an hour rain (insane for Southerns California)

It was raining so hard that trees were falling, and I was wearing 5 layers of jackets, including two military grade coats and was soaking wet. Here's a shot from that day.

Question. Would you take the 1d II and a sealed lens and run a hose over it all? Not with any sort of nozzle, but with a little bit of force from your thumb?

Ran mine under a water fountain and scrubbed after this

It's been a long while since I've shared anything of mine so here's a random shot. Hopefully get some action ones in the near future too.

That just made me a bit sick to my stomach

Jaocobs Digital in London told me that the Canon 1D Mkii can be updated with the 1D MkiiN firmware to basically make the only difference between the two cameras the screen size.

Does anybody know if this is true?

There are little more minor difference aside from the screen size.
You can probably google the full list of differences. But for the price difference, the N version isn't worth it for me.

Here's my Mk IIn soaking wet... from my failed 365 that I gave up on not even a month into it lol..
