Holy cow! That's awesome!!!

I have to ask about your lighting. I see the twinlight but what diffusion? Lovely soft lighting.

Watsy - amazing shot!

Please tell me, how did you get this? What lighting/lens did you use here?

Might I ask what lens and flash setup you used to take this picture?
It is excellent!

Well sure, thank you :)

Used the Tamron 90 @ 1:1, ISO 400, 1/200, f13
Lit using the YN-465 at almost full power - snooted with a DIY "PVC" pipe right on top of the subject :)

cheers,

Sorry dirkkristen I didn't see your question earlier, I generally only pass through every few days. My setup is a Canon 20D with an MP-E65mm lens and a 420EX flash on a flash bracket and ball head combo. Over the flash head I had one of the throwaway tin oven trays you'd get a pie or something in from the supermarket and tissue paper over it to help diffuse the light. I'm not sure if my flash explanation is very clear but I know there's a macro setup thread where folks have posted pictures of similar setups as it was there I got my setup from.

Glad you liked it, I appreciate your comment.
