Great timing on the shots. They seem over sharpened, though.

What time where these taken? Almost all of them are backlit and with this being a SW facing beach it seems like it was late afternoon? Pitty they are mostly in shadow, but you could probably still bump up the exposure one or two stops without blowing out the highlights (at least not too badly).

Sadly, I lived one block from there and never learned to surf.
