TEST
So I am on the fence between two filters. These will be used on my Canon 24-70L lens. I am looking for the filter to provide great blue skies and making the clouds pop in addition to reduce the reflection for my car photography. I do this as a hobby but don't mind spending a little extra if it gets me the desired results. So on with the two filters I am looking at.
First, is the B+W 77mm Kaesmann MRC filter: http://maxsaver.net/B-W-77mm-Kaesemann-MRC-SLIM-Circular-Polarizer-Filter.aspx (NOTE not sure if 24mm qualifies for needing slim I think it does due to some vignetting). I have read many good things about this filter and nothing but praise so don't mind spending a little extra if it is the better choice.
The second is: Marumi DHG Super: http://www.amazon.com/Marumi-Super-Circular-Polarizer-Filter/dp/B003QSG0HK I have read the reviews and saw this ranked number one from lenstip.com. But does not appear to be widely used so have not seen pictures taken with it. Does appear to be well regarded here from what I have seen.
I was also considering the Hoya Pro 1 but heard of quality issues with this filter so I took it off my list.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
