I already have 1 vivitar 285hv triggered by a CSRB connected to the vivitar and a CST connected to the camera. Is it possible to fire off the vivitar 285hv(with CSRB) along with a ab800(with CSRB) at the same time with my CST? I was just curious because I was really looking into purchasing an ab800.

Yes! You should be able to transmit studio strobes and the vivitar at the same time.

Yes that will work fine. If you want to save on the second CSRB you can fire the AB via it's built-in optical trigger that will fire when it sees the 285 flash. The problem with that is it will also fire with other camera flashes that might be near you. The best solution is a receiver for each flash/strobe.
