In Sydney, it's that time of year again when the heaters come out the air chills down and the rain sets in. However, for the third year running the City of Sydney has taken some initiative and bought some colour into the winter lead up. The Vivid Festival is Sydney's festival of light, the Opera House is just one of the many icons lit up for the 10 day period and in the days to come I'll be walking the city to capture it in all it's glory.

I was on my way home from the pub when I stopped to grab a teaser.

Wow. Beautiful, the grace of the opera house combined with the bridge is a nice combination. It really works...and those colors!

Luckily the rain stayed away for this evening and I got to walk around Circular Quay. Unfortunately there were people EVERYWHERE so it was hard to get shots of the smaller displays they had going on. These were the main Opera House and building displays.

Enjoy!

Love the first one! I have seen a million pics of the opera house (as I'm sure have most people) and it gets boring after a while...good job on picking a unique angle and making it interesting.
