I find meters cumbersome and impractical.
I sold mine because I just did not use it, not my shooting style.

I am considering selling my 5dc and one of my 7d's and trading in for a 5d mark II I am heavily into portrait photography. So those of you that upgraded, will this be a positive step? (the basic functions of the 5d when compared to the 7d do bother me). Yes. I made the jump from 5dc to 5dii and I've enjoyed the difference. my name is mjay.

On the mk11 (as with the 7D) I can quickly change menu & camera settings from the rear screen without putting my glasses on. I couldn't do that with the 5D via the rear screen or top lcd. 7D & 5DmkIII, 10-17 Tokina, 17-40 f/4, 17-55 f/2.8, 24-105 f/4, 70-200 f/2.8, 300 f/2.8, EX1.4 II, EX 2.0 II

I don't feel the 5d2 IQ is superior to the 5dc. In fact, many felt that the 5d2's images are plasticky. <shrug>. Vancouver Portrait Photographer
