I guess its a reflex to grab anything when gravity fails in just a small area. This is probably the moment before the carrier will prove to be a stupid thing to try to hold on to =)

There's clearly something that has been Photoshopped out by his mid-section, as his jacket and shirt are hanging down, except for at his tummy.
