How are people experiencing the mustache distortion on the lens?
I was thinking of ordering one (also for video), but don't really like the distortion...

i have a lightroom plugin for it.
its not that bad in landscapes (though i still use the plug-in), but for architecture, the plugin corrects maybe 80% of the distortion. i fix the rest in PS5.

That's what I'm wondering. On landscapes you don't really notice it too much, but in any urban set-up it would look really awkward - and that's partially where I plan on using it...

I don't know. Generally, I found it a-OK. This is without any correction applied.

Those aren't rectilinear buildings. Makes a huge difference.

I'm just responding to your concern that "in any urban set-up, it would look really awkward."

Here is a good example showing the distortion. The steps along the bottom are straight.

I have recently sold this lens, but I can't help checking back on this thread. I'm sure I'll own one again some day.

Yeah, I'm also wondering if anyone managed to attach filters to this lens?
