really digging the light from the Saberstrip. Did you gel it? Looks like you were really able to dial the light down to incorporate those ambient lights, cool. Suspect Saber will be popular with wedding photogs and others. Need some bts shots ;) Oh yeah, gorgeous model

Thanks Peter, it is surprisingly very good. I really like it. The flash was at 1/8 power and no gel.

it seems like a lot for a pvc tube, some reflective material, and the endcap that has a threaded insert. I'm going to try to make me one this summer.

Yes...the shadow :(
I had sun just going down hard to camera right, BD camera left. I was trying to keep the BD down so the sun could be more a part of the shot. So that shadow is from the setting sun across her leg. See the shadow across the wall of the drain at right edge of picture also. Still learning...so much to look out for. With everyone's help and critique on POTN i'll get it!
